David Dubinsky
arrived in Virginia Beach on 1983 as an
adventurous 23-year-old with $500 in his
pocket. He started Jack Frost Firewood
Co. delivering cords of seasoned
firewood. He expanded the business by
adding bulk deliveries of screened
topsoil, mulch, and sand. By 2000, the
business had grown into an award-winning
company, jack Frost Landscapes.
Today, he owns Hampton Road's newest garden
center, Jack Frost Landscape and Garden
Center, on Holland Road in Virginia Beach.
For the past three years Jack Frost
Landscapes has won first place for "Best Use
of Pavers" at the Mid-Atlantic Home and
Flower Show. In 2008 they also won
recognition for their creative Commercial
Landscape Design.
